		<description>The same muscles that you&#039;d use for pulling yourself up to the bar are being used while just hanging there, just with a much, much smaller range of motion(none :0 ) Actually, the isometric contractions from when you are trying to pull upward is definitely going to create some sore muscles.
Since you&#039;re doing them with your husband you could practice negative reps to build strength. Have him assist you up, then slowly lower yourself without his help.
Good luck. Keep at it, before long you&#039;ll be pulling your chin up past the bar!</description>
