Daylight Savings Gripes
I’ve never really been into the whole daylight savings time thing. Firstly, I almost always forgot to change my clock. The time changed here last Sunday and I ended up waking up an hour earlier than I needed to. I didn’t realize until I turned on my computer to check my email and by then it was too late for me to crawl back into my cozy bed.
Secondly, now that the time has changed it gets dark so early here. Right now it’s 4:30 and it’s already dark outside.
Thirdly, I have such a hard time adjusting to the time change. It’s like I have jet lag, but instead it’s daylight savings time lag. My body’s internal clock is completely thrown off.
When I travel I deal with jet lag by fasting. Maybe I should do the same thing for daylight savings next time. I can fast the day before and then my body will adjust to the time change more quickly.

I agree with you about not liking this daylight saving ritual. I’ve yet to hear one good explanation on why we still do it. Here it’s pitch dark by 5:30, I feel like I’ve been robbed out of 2 and a half hours of playtime everyday. GRRRR!!

Yeah. It just doesn’t make sense, does it?
